Insight- ‘’Ways of coping with being a mother and an entrepreneur’’

''Being an entrepreneur and a mother is only possible if you love your job.
To me, you can only be an entrepreneur and a mother at the same time, if you really appreciate and love the work that you do.
Motherhood changes your life, true, but in my own experience, for the better.
Actually, becoming a mother made me a better entrepreneur.
The first few months can be difficult, let's not kid ourselves. It's a time of adjustment and I won't deny that there are times when you may find yourself overwhelmed, but most of them are not. For me, seeing myself in a position where society demands of a woman to do everything at 100% was difficult; a strong businesswoman, a great mother, an amazing friend and wife, a strong person ..... I was over my head. However, as I started to look at things from a different perspective, it all changed. It's all about attitude and perspective, and I chose to live it from a perspective of fulfilment. Happy and excited, I felt like the luckiest person in the world and I was motivated by the fact that I was becoming the best version of myself and being able to "go all the way" by balancing motherhood and work without losing my balance.
Being a mother helped me to grow personally but also professionally: I improved my ability to concentrate, to organise myself. I became more empathetic and creative. I became more aware of what I wanted and what I didn't want. I became more aware of where I was and where I wanted to go. It gave me clarity.
Time is more limited and requires more precision. Hence, time is not only time, but I came to perceive it as "Quality Time".
If you dedicate yourself to what you love and you love your children... the path is much easier and more fun.
It is clear that attitude is not everything, but almost.
Worth it!''
